This month was full of great memories and nostalgic moments! Some of us went to concerts, fairs, and other fun events in and around Atlanta.
Another Bite Tour

To start the month off strong, I attended the Djo concert with a close friend. We’ve haven’t been to a concert together in three years. The concert took place at Coca Cola Roxy at the Battery. Although this particular venue is not one of my favorites, it was still one of the most memorable performances that I've been to. My night was memorable because of the anticipation that built up while getting ready, the amazing opener, and the iconic setlist. Afterwards, the cherry on top was taking some post-show digital camera photos.
Ultrasound Tour

The next week, Anna attended the Lorde concert at Gas South Arena in Duluth. Lorde previously toured in Atlanta for her Solar Power tour after a five year hiatus, and we were excited when she announced her Ultrasound tour for this fall. Anna said that finally getting to see Lorde in concert was a dream come true. The show was everything she imagined and more. She enjoyed dancing with her friends, screaming all the lyrics, and soaking in every moment. The biggest highlight was that Lorde performed “A World Alone”, which isn’t a regular part of her setlist. Additionally, Anna got to hear “Ribs”, which was very nostalgic and a full-circle moment. Overall, the Lorde concert was definitely one of those unforgettable nights that Anna will cherish forever.
Atlanta Pride 2025
One of the most fun and free events every October in Atlanta is Pride! This was the first time that I attended the festival with my friends who have attended the past three years. Saturday is more of a festival vibe filled with local music artists, various vendors, and people in unique and creative outfits. People even brought their dogs and dressed them up for the occasion. Sunday is dedicated to the different parades for each LGBTQ+ community. My favorite moments were definitely seeing Bob the Drag Queen and Flo Milli. Overall, Pride was full of loving energy, and we met so many fun people. This event definitely lives up to its hype of being the largest free Pride festival in the South.
Greetings From Your Hometown Tour

To wrap up the month, I attended her second Jonas Brothers concert with her mom. They performed at State Farm Arena and had some special surprises for Atlanta. The most viral moment from the Greetings From Your Hometown shows are definitely the guest performers. Atlanta was fortunate enough to get performances from two guest performers. First, Grouplove came out to sing their most popular song, Tongue Tied. I was so excited because I had met them over the summer at a release performance at Criminal Records in Little Five Points. The most unexpected but definitely iconic guest was Colbie Calliat with her song Bubbly. It was amazing hearing Nick sing a whole verse! Aside from the surprises, the openers Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines and The All-American Rejects were phenomenal.
Some Fall Moments
October was definitely a busy month for concerts, but we also did some fall activities. Both Tori and I got to go to the fair. Tori also went to a pumpkin patch at Burt’s Farm in Dawsonville. This pumpkin patch is definitely one of the most well-known in North Georgia. It’s nostalgic for me because I remember doing the hay ride and countless family photos as a kid.
Final Remarks
This month was full of nostalgia, iconic moments, and fun memories with our friends. We look forward to more memories and our trying more new things in November. Keep an eye out on our socials for more content and October throwbacks.
