Coffee Crawl!

In October, we decided we wanted to start a coffee crawl segment on The Weekend Edit. We have a list of about a dozen different coffee shops in the Metro Atlanta area that we can’t wait to try. We’ve already visited three coffee places already. We went to Lazy Labrador in Kennesaw, Bizarre Coffee in Woodstock, and 7 Brew in Smyrna. Each place was so unique and had so many different options. All were so great, and we especially loved the seasonal drinks they had available for fall and winter. 

The first place we went to was Lazy Labrador Coffee House in Kennesaw, GA. This coffee shop is located in Downtown Kennesaw and is just minutes away from Kennesaw State University. It’s a great place to study with lots of indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. We went in October to try some of their new fall drinks. They’re menu is different every year. Last year, their drinks were Harry Potter themed, and my favorite was the Ron Weasley which features brown sugar and cinnamon flavors. This year, we tried their cookie butter latte and caramel apple latte. Both were so flavorful and made for great sweet treats.

The second place we tried was Bizarre Coffee in Woodstock, which is about 15 minutes away from campus. Bizarre also has a location in Downtown Canton, and they’re in the process of opening a larger location in Roswell. We went during Thanksgiving week, so their winter menu had just been released. We tried their French Toast latte and Sweet Dream latte. The French Toast was a mapley brown sugar latte, and the famous Sweet Dream was a vanilla latte with brown sugar and madeleine flavors. Their menu is so unique, and we can’t wait to try all the other flavors.

The most recent place we tried was 7 Brew in Smyrna. They had a holiday menu, and some of their drinks are exclusive to certain locations. This location had a Santa’s Cookie Mocha, and it was so sweet and chocolatey. We also did a custom holiday breve, and it was the perfect balance between sweet and bitter. We loved 7 Brew because of how quick they were and because there were so many options to choose from. The drink combinations are truly endless.
